One of the biggest nearby attractions is Parque Nacional del Chicamocha, located on the Bucaramanga–San Gil road about 50 minutes from Bucaramanga, at kilometer 54. The park can also be accessed through Mesa de los Santos, where a cable car station connects to the park across a 6.3 km route.
