North Pole, Alaska is a small community about 15 miles southeast of Fairbanks in the heart of Alaska. My wife and I have lived here and raised our children for the past 30+ years. Nearing retirement age we are looking for places to snowbird for the coldest months In Alaska and found Bogota has a similar climate year-round that we enjoy here during the summer (with the exception of the midnight sun).
