I'm originally from Texas, although when I do the math, I find I have actually spent more of my life in California. I have an affinity for both places but I absolutely love Bogota. I suppose that is why I keep coming back, especially to El Nogal. I have lived in several other neighborhoods, but there are so many great places within a short walk here; restaurants, cafes, bakeries.... My absolute favorite pizza joint in the world is a block away (It is not the same as Matt's.)

Aside from the people in my life who are special to me, I have a passion for college football, especially the Texas Longhorns. I also love music with a lean towards countryish Americana & Rock. I am also a bit of a foodie I suppose & Bogota just might be perfect if I could find a good barbecue joint.

I am also a world class procrastinator & I still haven't applied for a resident visa. That & a bit of wanderlust will likely push me to explore some other countries soon. But, even if I leave for a bit, I know I'll be back.
