Greetings from the suburbs of DC (but daydreaming of Colombia). I am a scholar of public policy studying climate change policies around the world. I did "junior year abroad" in Bogota decades ago (during the Toma del Palacio de Justicia in 1985) and it launched my career as a freelance journalist. I wrote an undergrad thesis on Antonio Narino's journalism during the pre-independence decades in Colombia, and that helped me learn the ropes in academic research.
