Minca is the reset button Santa Marta needs

Minca might be the reason I could actually imagine staying longer in Santa Marta.

When the heat, traffic, noise, and beach crowds start feeling like too much, going up into the Sierra Nevada changes everything. Cooler air, green views, coffee, cacao, rivers, waterfalls, birds, dirt roads, and that feeling that your nervous system finally took a deep breath.

The official Santa Marta tourism site describes Minca as sitting in the lower forest of the Sierra Nevada, with natural trails, rivers, waterfalls, and coffee and cacao farms. That’s exactly the appeal: it feels close enough for an escape, but different enough to reset your brain.

What’s your favorite Minca plan?
