Before you apply, create a digital folder with clean scans of:

Passport ID page
Entry stamp or current permit
Existing Colombian visa, if any
Cédula de extranjería, if you have one
Birth/marriage/divorce certificates, if relevant
Apostilled documents
Certified translations
Bank statements or pension/income proof
Employment or remote work letters
Health insurance proof, if required
Application receipts and official emails

For remote workers, Colombia has a specific Digital Nomad Visa category for people providing remote work or digital services from Colombia for foreign companies, or for certain digital/content/IT ventures of interest to the country.

When posting, do not upload full passports, ID numbers, addresses, bank account numbers, or private documents. Summarize the issue and remove sensitive information.
